How do I print?

Printing with Blaq is done by creating Adobe PDF files of your reports, invoices, quotes, etc. When you print, depending on your browser, either a new tab or a new window will be shown, containing the document to be printed. Print the document using the print button in the window or the print option on the menu.

Before you can print, you need to make sure you have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed. It should be at least version 5, but the latest version is generally the best option. You can download the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader by visiting http://www.adobe.com.


I have Adobe Reader installed but nothing prints.

Following is a checklist to follow if you can't print:
  1. Are you using the latest version of Acrobat Reader? Check which is the latest version on the Adobe site and if you're not, its a good idea to update.
  2. If printing was working but has suddenly stopped working, it might be a browser problem. Close and re-open your browser and try printing again.
  3. Try clicking on this link to open a test pdf. It should open the pdf in a new window or tab. If the pdf opens but you still can't print from Blaq, try printing something else in Blaq. There could be a problem with the template/report you're printing.
