The Administration module is where you setup the details of your Company.
Companies can include multiple Branches and each branch can have multiple Employees. Products are also setup here in groups and categories. The Options section allows you to setup workstation preferences for all users.
CompanyThis section contains the information about your company as well as its GL Accounts, Bank Accounts, Tax Rates, Payment Terms, Payment Methods and Territories.
InfoSystem Info shows you information about your Blaq setup including the number of transactions in the system & active users.
TemplatesAll reports and exports in Blaq are setup as 'Templates'. The Templates section allows you to create & modify templates as well as schedule reports/exports to be e-mailed to users at set times & intervals.
BranchesIn Blaq, you can setup multiple branches (sometimes known as stores) if you will be running Blaq in more than one location. You need to setup at least one branch, even if you are only using the one location.
ProductsProducts are the goods and services you buy and sell.
Employees (Users)Employees are users of Blaq and will usually be your company's staff, but you can also add people from outside your company (eg. a bookkeeper) who needs access to your Blaq system.
OptionsOptions can be set that affect all users in your Blaq system relating to a variety of categories such as date formatting and the terminology used.
GroupsGroups are used in Blaq for labelling various types of records, such as products, customers and contacts.
MaintenanceSystem Maintenance contains tools for performing maintenance on your Blaq system.
